The bandwidth that you purchased from your Internet service provider is not a guaranteed connection speed. Microsoft, and practically no third-party company is going to provide you with gigabit downloads for anything. Xbox on a gigabit connection typically for me tabs out between 150 and 200 Mb per second, which is fast enough to load a 50 GB game in 15 to 20 minutes.

What you were likely seeing is a server under various load....
So I bought a mobile hotspot from Verizon so that I could play online at home because the only internet available is satellite. And it worked great for about a week or two .Then all the sudden it doesn’t allow me to play games online but it shows my friends and my captures etc but it won’t let me play online I tried resetting the the hotspot to factory settings and went through and made sure there were no weird restrictions and everything on that end checks out...
5GHz is good for speed and bandwidth but it useless for range, if you have walls with insulation then that will cause issues.

2.4 is more reliable due to having a better range and being more consistent, but slower.

whats the distance from your router, is wired even an option for you.
Start by clearing your console's MAC and restarting your internet devices.
If the problem persists try putting the console IP in the DMZ zone of your router/modem and test again
Hi,

IPv6 is a technology ultimately created to prevent networks and the internet in general literacy running out of IP Adresses. While it's designed to be more efficient, IPv6 won't make your connection quicker and has no bearing on your WiFi signal.

If you're having connection issues connect via a wired connection. If you're not happy with the router from your ISP, put it into Modem only mode and use a third party router/ gateway for your WiFi connection....
Most of the time Moderate or double NAT is most often caused by having multiple networking devices that do NAT such a modem/router from your service provider, then having your own router. The ports must be opened on your network device, be it a router or modem, to do this it would be best to contact your service provider since they know better the configuration of their devices.

The ports you need to open would be the following

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
