    • Gateway: 192.168.1.1
    • Username: 1234
    • Password: 1234
    MAC Filtering

    1. Connect a computer to the gateway with an Ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser on a computer.
    3. Type the gateway address: 192.168.1.1 into the web address bar, select
      apply.
    4. This will take you to a login page, type 1234 for the username and type
      1234 for the password.
    5. Select Network on the main page.
    6. Select Wireless LAN.
    7. Select MAC Filter.
    8. Check the Active MAC Filter box.
    9. Next to MAC Restrict Mode select the Allow option.
    10. Select the Add Entries button.
    11. Type in the wireless devices MAC address you would like to add.
    12. Select the Apply button to add the device.
    13. Continue to add devices from your network using the Add button.
    14. Select Apply to save the changes.


    Disable MAC Filtering

    1. Connect a computer to the gateway with an Ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser on a computer.
    3. Type the gateway address: 192.168.1.1 into the web address bar, select
      apply.
    4. This will take you to a login page, type 1234 for the username and type
      1234 for the password
    5. Select Network on the main page.
    6. Select Wireless LAN.
    7. Deselect the Active MAC Filter.
    8. Select Apply to save the changes.

    there isn’t an active box. there are disable, allow, or deny boxes though. my xbox was connected to the internet fine then the xbox randomly turned itself off and it won’t connect. i’ve reset the wifi and everything.

    Double NAT problems (I Think)

    Yes, the Zyxel is a gateway (modem+router), and you have problematic double NAT as a result. If you have access to the right settings, you can put the Zyxel in bridge mode as explained on page 22 of the manual here:

    This is the best solution, but your ISP may block those settings. If it does, and if it is unwilling to set it to bridge mode for you, another option is to disable DHCP on the Belkin and connect the Zyxel to a LAN port on the Belkin rather than WAN. Reboot
    Zyxel, Belkin, Xbox, and Xbox should get an IP from the Zyxel via DHCP (reserve this IP if the Zyxel supports that). You will then need to do all necessary port forwarding to the Xbox using the Zyxel unless the Zyxel properly implements UPnP (in which case
    enable that).

    Actually, this option isn't removed with some ISP's, it's just more hidden.

    You have to edit the existing WAN Setup under the Advanced Setup tab.

    Click the edit button, hit next, and it the "Enable Firewall" option will be on that page. Uncheck it and hit next and save.
