The reset button is easily broken on this device, so the preferred method of restoring to defaults is to use utilities and the restore factory defaults option.

Suddenly can't connect to Internet on 360

    Greetings Phane7!

May I ask, is your ZyXEL C1000Z operating in bridge mode, or router/NAT mode?

If it's possible, can you try connect your Xbox directly in to the ZyXEL C1000Z, and verify if you can connect properly to Live, or not.

    Thanks!

    Hi there hoitoy,

Can you please clarify a little for us on the make/model of your router? Are you using a router or just the Zyxel C1000Z?

Also, Were you able to try any of the suggestions posted above?

    • If so, were there any changes?

Also, have you made sure you are using the
    latest firmware
    for your Zyxel device?

Please let us know and we'll go from there.

I keep getting disconnected from xbox live at random whenever there is any activity between my profile and someone else's

    Sorry for the delay!

I found the manual for the AMG1302-TSeries, and it seems that there is no later version of firmware than the one already installed. The software for this device can only be updated manually. ftp://ftp.zyxel.co.uk

Could you try restore your Zyxel gateway back to factory defaults. Before you do so, if you use PPPoA/PPPoE connectivity, you have to know the username and password assigned by your ISP, for the access and authentication method.

Unplug all existing devices from the Zyxel gatway (except for the power supply). Locate the reset button (at the back). Press and hold for 10 seconds. Power off the gateway for a couple of minutes. Plug in everything back up and wait one minute for it to connect
    properly.

Reconfigure the Zyxel, (manually) such as, wireless security and UPnP.

Post back and let us know how that goes and we'll go from there.
