    Login Information



    • Gateway: 192.168.1.1
    • Username: admin
    • Password: 1234
    Change Wireless Mode

    1. Connect a computer to the gateway with an Ethernet cable.
    2. Open a web browser on a computer.
    3. Type the gateway address: 192.168.1.1 into the web address bar, select
      apply.
    4. This will take you to a login page, type admin for the username and type
      1234 for the password.
    5. Select Network on the main page.
    6. Select Wireless LAN.
    7. Select Advanced Setup.
    8. Next to 802.11 Mode.
    9. Select Apply to save the changes.

    Have to run connection test before xbox 360 will connect

    Please change the mode from routing mode, to bridge mode. (I had Zyxel for 1 1/2 years. It should work.

    Hi,

    i use a Zyxel NBG4615 wireless router configured as as access point. The xbox has a built in wireless network adapter.

    I think the problem is that default encryption for WPA2 is AES and in mixed mode WPA is also encrypted in AES not with TKIP.

    Well since the NAT stuff is solved I'm having issues with the ZyXEL's wireless signal. My dad's laptop is probably 25-30 feet away, if that, and stays at 4 bars and drops lower till eventually there is no signal at all. Seeing as how this modem/router combo
    had Wireless N I thought the signal would be 10x better than all my previous Wireless G modem/routers. The Westell 2500 would reach to my shed which was probably 50 feet away. The wireless signal mode was at b/g/n mode. I changed it to N mode hoping that would
    fix it. I read somewhere to change the channel to 11 but that didn't help either. I'm not 100% sure if it's fixed but does anyone know how I could fix this or what would be the ideal wireless settings to use?
