If I understand correctly, besides the inability to access via the Feather client, you cannot access your Microsoft account. If that's the case, I recommend following the link provided below.

Usually, when it's not possible to recover the password, you will need to fill out the recovery form, but I believe it's always better to go through official support.

My daughter has tried to open that link:

In a InPrivate browser window, but when putting in her email address she gets this error
"We couldn't find a Microsoft account. Try entering your details again, or create an account."

We have then tried using that same link and create new account but now get this error
"You've requested too many codes today. Please try again tomorrow."

We have not yet been able to create the account on the MS end, so it should have no data at all. Are you able to see if the account is created on your system?

If not, please try creating a new account for her when the computer is connected to a mobile hotspot and see if it allows you to create the account and add it to family.

I have tried this. Connected her pc to a mobile network and when you try to recover the account it says no account can be found with that email. If you then try to create account it still give the "You've requested too many codes today. Please try again tomorrow." error.

You've got to be kidding me right?

My whole issue is that I can't get the code sent to my phone number. If I was able to get a code sent to my phone number I would be able to recover my account.

At this point I fully believe there is a bug in the password reset system because I haven't been able to have a code sent to me for days because it said that I requested too many codes today and to try again tomorrow.

So all my information is just gone. My Xbox and all my games are just useless now? All because your password reset system is garbage?

I've had the same issue today too. While trying to download the new Minecraft multiplatform capable multiplayer game on the store. If you've played Minecraft for a while, you get the new version for free. The dashboard said I've
purchased it but also no matter how many times I reinstall and restart, it's not working.

It's likely an O Oh, that shouldn't have happened glitch thingy. Try again tomorrow. Should be up and running properly then.
