YouTube video corruption

So within the last three weeks the YouTube app on my Xbox One X has been randomly glitching, showing a frozen frame of corrupted video whilst the audio continues in the background.

Gameplay is not affected, YouTube on other devices is not affected.

Anyone else experienced this?

That certainly isn't normal, it could be the app just needs a reinstall since everything else is working properly. I would recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the app, that should hopefully correct it!

After watching about 6 vids on YouTube, the corruption is back. I never had an issue like this with my old XBox.

Uninstall and Reinstall the youtube app and see if that makes any difference

Thanks for the reply. To help clarify,

Did you reach out to http://www.youtube.com/console_support? If the console is working with other games and apps, the issue may be pertaining to the app.

If the issue persists, try doing a
factory reset - keep games & apps to help refresh the operating system on the Xbox One X.

Try this and let us know the results.
