YouTube not casting to XboxOne through Wifi

Xbox One is no longer showing up as an available device to select and connect to when trying to cast through wifi on YouTube from my android phone. When trying to cast after searching it says no devices found. I have been having to link with a TV code instead and it picks it up just fine after that. Which is annoying because the linking through wifi option used to work just fine a couple weeks ago. Nothing has changed with my phone, tv, or the xbox during this time. Both devices are connected to the internet. I have been doing the same process as I always have when I could just start casting YouTube to my xbox from my phone before. I don't understand why it's having trouble finding the xbox as an active device to cast to now. This has also been a noticeable issue amongst my friends having this same issue with their Xbox ones lately. It has just suddenly stopped working recently. I find it odd that I am not the only one having this issue. I have restarted all the devices numerous times as well as un-installed and re-installed the apps on my devices as well in an attempt to troubleshoot. Not sure what else to do to resolve this issue. Help?

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.

I am having the same issue, but this is after an update to my Xbox One S. Netflix, YouTube, Plex, and more cannot see my Xbox for casting.

I suspect the recent update is what broke things.

The YouTube app can only cast from devices on the same WiFi network as your Xbox. Since the app isn't made by Xbox, it would be down to YouTube to address any issues or concerns: https://www.youtube.com/t/contact_us

I have this working when I pair from my iPhone.

Youtube has to be selected on XboxOne then go to Youtube on my phone select a video and a little TV symbol appears as it starts to play, When I press that an option appears to choose where to play the video I select Xboxone then after buffering it appears
on the TV through the Xboxone.
