Youtube/Netflix problems with lagging and not loading

This started shortly after the new update. My first problem was youtube randomly crashing and then immediately afterwards not loading at all. I attempted to uninstall but when I would try to do so, It just didnt. I pushed the button to hit the uninstall
option. But then nothing happened. Then I found out I could not uninstall anything at all. A quick reset/power reset seemed to fix this problem.

Now today I have a serious problem with my Netflix app. It loads incredibly slow and any button input on the controller takes 15-20 seconds to acknowledge. Making it impossible to watch anything. I have tried Uninstalling/Reinstalling and doing the power
reset, but nothing seems to work. I would prefer not to resort to a full factory restore just yet. Does anyone have any other potential solutions?

So where are the dedicated servers?!?

I live in Chicago and have no problems with lag. The only time I see hiccups are when my gf watches youtube and Netflix simultaneously....or between 8:30-10pm because 1,000,000 people get online to watch Netflix. You might want to do a speed test next
time you start lagging.

 

problems with app youtube and netflix

Hi there, i have a xbox360 arcade and i instaled 2 apps that are not working at all. they are youtube and netflix. both of them are closing the window wile you are waching videos. what can i do to fix that?

 

Theres a full thread on the Netlix issue. Seems loads of people are having issues with it, including myself. have tried everything under the sun to try and get it to work, but nothing is working.

 

Could you help me find it? I tried doing a search and manually looking through the forums and could not find it. And is this tied to issues with youtube somehow?

 

Youtube seems to be running very poor video quality at the moment. This has been going on for a day or two. My Stepdad checked another video site and that's still running fine with full HD so the internet connection's not the issue.
