    YouTube app not working (Fix) on Series X and S


    I saw a post from a year ago about this issue of having the YouTube app not working. I came across this on the help page for Xbox. I tried it and the app now works. You have to follow these steps.

    Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

    Enjoy and hopefully this helps everyone.

    I tried that did not work and I tried uninstalling YouTube and reinstalling the app and that did not work. This problem is happening on Xbox one x and Xbox series x!

    Xbox one s isn’t compatible with series s games

    Depending on what the game is, if what you bought is for the Series S/X then it will only work on the Series S/X. The One was released before the Series S/X. One games will work on the Series S/X, but not always vice versa.
