YouTube app green video playback

Discus and support YouTube app green video playback in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Since the last update I had to hard reset my Series X.     YouTube app green video playback


    Since the last update I had to hard reset my Series X.

    After restart, the XBox shows the welcome screen. signing in with my profile gave the error message 0x80a20303.

    After signing in and starting the YouTube app, video playback is green. Reinstalling the app didn't help. Clearing the cache didn't do either.

    Other video apps have no issues while playing a video.

    Anybody else having these issues?

    problem with youtube app when snapped

    Yeah it bugs me too. Other video apps play fine snapped, and only the YouTube app seems to have playback issues. Needs to be fixed ASAP.

    Some video apps are having problems since the last update. Many reports of crashes and failed playback errors are being reported from Zune/Xbox Video and Youtube but, give it time as the support staff is working on fixes. Thank You for the report and

    YouTube intends you to use their app on Xbox, Microsoft edge on Xbox is not a full featured browser, And has a number of segments that can affect security disabled, which can cause issues with video playback sites.

    I really like youtube app, but I've also witnessed it crashing while videos are playing too. Does yours also perform the "Xbox Select" feature were it's listening after playback? so annoying why why..

    YouTube video playback in snap mode on Xbox ONE needs to be fixed. When the feature was first added, it was really choppy,, and out of sync. The update after that (current) seemed to improve that a little. It's still choppy (though slightly less), and the
    A/V sync is pretty much okay, considering the stil choppy video.

    Other video apps seem to play just fine snapped, be it live TV, streaming apps, and even throwing HD video from my tablet to the xbox video app (via DLNA). So yeah, only the YouTube app seems to play videos choppy while snapped.

    I hope this gets fixed ASAP.
