    I've been watching a lot of youtube for like the past month and have encountered no ads, now however every single video I click on there is always an ad... Why?? If I wanted to watch ads I would have decided to watch satellite tv.. Is there any way to
    block them on the xbox one app?

    M.S. double Standards.

    EVERYTHING provided by YouTube, is provided by YouTube, NOT Microsoft! True Microsoft neatly displays ads on the Dashboard, but it's Google you should be complaining to. Microsoft has no control over it, unless Microsoft removes those ads forcefully.

    vevo has all but ruined youtube, I don't get ads on my other device

    The ads are integrated in to the Youtube videos. They have nothing to do with xbox. It's the same as watching videos on Youtube on your computer. Some videos are monetized which means the people who uploaded them have chosen to show ads.

    it's not just youtube. I use Edge in Xbox for browsing the web. I have Youtube premium so I don't see ads when using Youtube.
