Your Xbox live account is already linked to another account

When was the last time you've played your Epic games on Xbox? Was it not yet linked to your Epic games account because you mentioned that you already have progress on it?

By the way, check the troubleshooting steps from the Epic's website below to try to fix your issue.

I made an new account in zune and new account in xbox. but it shows the same error(the windows live ID youre switching to is already linked to another xbox live account. you must use another windows live ID.)

Have you tried connecting your XBOX Live account to a Call of Duty Elite account? Such as registering on the site, and then afterwards linking your XBOX Live Account?

If you've done that you can go to this link:

profile.callofduty.com/.../profile.act

And scroll down to "Consoles", and link your XBOX Live Account if you haven't, already.

You can use email as an alias, unless it is not already linked to another xbox account, it seems that it is your case.

In addition, there is no option to merge accounts.
