Your Triumph of the Month- March 2020

For this discussion, let's discuss our greatest victories and triumphs within the past month of our gaming lives! Maybe you finally beat a game, or beat a tough boss or level, or unlocked a tough achievement, or had an epic victory in an online match, or
hit a major gaming milestone, or anything else in your gaming life that you would consider a triumph. Share it here, as well as some details about how you triumphed and/or helpful tips for others about your triumph. (I'd consider making this a monthly discussion
post if enough people say more than just a few words and add a little discussion content to their posts!)

One of my most memorable triumphs for my last month in gaming was in Slay the Spire, where I finally beat Act 4 (the "true" final act of the main game mode) with a couple of different characters. This was quite a triumph for me because it really forced
me to change some of my key strategies about the game, as Act 4 is much harder than any of the previous acts. A major change I made to my strategy was that instead of taking a lot of cards that looked strong, I really concentrated on only taking a small number
of cards that would work well together, and took several opportunities to remove some of the basic Strike and Defend cards from my deck as well. By keeping my deck size small, I increased the likelihood that I would draw certain cards, as well as certain
card combinations that would work especially well together. Another major change I made to my strategy was to be a little riskier in being willing to fight against Elite enemies, as the relics they drop can often be the most helpful items on any given run.

Another thing I'd consider a major triumph is that I've been able to get a lot of friends and family together for gaming nights featuring video chat recently where we play Jackbox games. Given current events, it's been wonderful to get these events organized
and to have memorable social interactions with my friends through gaming.
