I don’t use you except for an Xbox account that I use only for watching TV. I don’t have any credit card information attached to this account. Why do I NEED a password, especially one attached to the worst password requirements.

hi. you can set ur account to not require a password. go to account, then sign in and security and there will be an option that says automatically sign in. click that and it should sign in from now on with no password needed

I have the exact same error man and can't fix it at all. The only 2 things you didn't mention that might fix it for you are...

1. Your password might be over 16 characters long (Xbox 360 doesn't support passwords over 16 characters)

2. You might have 2 step enabled (You need to disable 2 step to download onto Xbox 360)

But if like me your password if under 16 and you don't have 2 step enabled then you're just as f'd as I am. I can't fix my account and it been like 2 months now. I contacted support over a month ago and they're no help. I'm still waiting in a case update
and they haven't replied for like 3 week now.
