    Whenever i try to join my one specific friend's party, I either disconnect and get this message or he disconnects. Also it will not let me join him or him join me in gta 5 online. I have a good latency and MTU and before we were able to play together
    and hear each other perfectly fine until this point. I even have on open NAT type and good multiplayer connection

    Hi Derrick,

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue. Sorry to hear that you're having some trouble with joining up with your friend in a party. This could indicate that there is an issue with either your or his network settings causing the blockage.
    Since you already determined that you have an Open NAT, you may want to ask him to check his network settings as well and use the Xbox One Multiplayer
    Game Solution     to troubleshoot.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All settings.
    4. Select Network.
    5. Select Network settings.
    6. Select Test network connection.
    If either of you are on a wireless connection, you may also wish to try using a wired connection to see if that improves the connection as well.

    You can also report this problem using the Xbox Insider Hub app so we can investigate it further:

    1. On your console, install the
      Xbox Insider Hub       app (if you don’t already have it).
    2. Hold down the Xbox button on the controller.
    3. On the power menu, select Report a problem.
    4. Describe the problem in detail, including when it happened, if you saw any specific error codes or messages, and if you were using any specific games, software, hardware, or accessories when you encountered the problem.

    Give this a try and please let us know the results.

    Check to see if you have 2.4ghz and 5ghz as synched or seperate on your router. If theyre seperated either sync them or make sure xbox only connects to the 5ghz.

    Your nat settings might be preventing you from this. Either a console restart or router restart might fix this.
