    Hi,

    For the last two days, I have been trying to access Fifa 15 on my Xbox One but I always get the same message

    "For this game you need to be online. If you are on this Xbox regularly, make it your home Xbox to enable offline play for games you own..."

    I have then followed the instructions (settings > personalisation > my home xbox) but I get met with the message that I cannot change my xbox until "we connect to the service"

    Can someone please tell me what else I can do? I have a few games for my Xbox but the majority of them are on the xbox itself. Is Xbox Live down and when will it be back up?

    Unable to purchase DLC also unable to change the settings that stop that

    I also says " your privacy settings are in effect but cannot be changed until we connect to the service" in my privacy settings

    Looking on the status page everything looks to be working OK. I would suggest carry out a hard reset on the console then try again to see what happens.

    Just an fyi the home feature is not intended to be used in this way. It's supposed to be used with multiple consoles in the same home or family, not to share games you don't have the license to play with friends. You may be hard pressed to receive a favorable
    answer here. That said are you sure your friend didn't change his home console back to his own, or another friend? You are only allowed to change it 3 times, and in the setup you describe your console needs to be his home console since its his game, your home
    console doesn't really matter in that setup. He may have changed his console back. Also be careful who you share home with as this will give them access to private account info such as payment information, that's why it's not recommended to be used outside
    family.
