Your account does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox Live functionality

I purchased Xbox Live Gold and when I try to play Fortnite I get the following error code: "Your account does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox Live functionality". Tried another game with the same results. Can anyone help me?

please double check http://account.microsoft.com/services to see if the subscription is showing there.

If the subcription shows, try the following steps

Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)

Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

Redownload your profile

Also check Sign in to your Microsoft account if this is a CHild account a parental account needs to check it for any settings that can prevent online gameplay
