Yes, I'm a New XBOX 360 Owner...

Perhaps I'll be the last one in human history, but yes, I purchased an XBOX 360(e) on January 7th, 2014, my
first Seventh-generation console.

Why did I wait 11 years since I bought my PS2 back in college? I can't explain it in concrete terms, frankly...

I'm not a dedicated gamer, but I like video games. The Kinect of all things, sold me on the 360 over a PS3. I'm an RD for a living (http://www.eatright.org/About/Content.aspx?id=7531), so fitness is important to me, therefore I like the idea of having a new
toy that will also facilitate exercise. I didn't want to drop $500 on a new console with a ridiculously limited library of $50-$60 games. And above all that, it was time to get myself a holiday/birthday present.

The 360 just made the most sense.

It's been two weeks, and I'm really having fun, not at all regretting going with the 360. Doing some workouts with the Kinect, and playing some fun older games like Tomb Raider and Forza 2.

what is so good about red dead? I do not have it but I hear things about it sometimes. I played it on the ps2, is it the same thing?

 

Hey, Jason! I got my Xbox 360 on Christmas just a few weeks ago. I didn't realize how awesome it is to have a Xbox 360. You can do so much with one.

Some free games I suggest you play is Doritos Crash Course 1/2, Harms Way, and Happy Wars.

Thanks for all the good words. Not the first time I've heard Red Dead mentioned. I'll definitely check it out... right after I play the entire Mass Effect series my friend lent me ...
