Xvd random Disconnect and reconnect

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We are sorry to hear about your issue and i would like to shed some clarity on the situation . XVD is the virtual drive that is created when you install Xbox Game Pass games. Each game should have its own drive that is visible within you Device Manager. With that being said you may get a notification letting you know that a particular drive is active/inactive. May I ask if you are getting an prompt box or an audible tone when this change happens?

OP yea now that you say that, I bought my xbox one brand new around 2 weeks ago or so the version I got was the xbox one, that came with the digital download of halo.

anyway took out of box set up console and connected to internet, updated the console.

about 30 seconds later I noticed the controller kept disconnecting ?

I thought oh ffs here we go !! :/

anyway it disconnected again and would not turn on ?

I then had to use a usb cable plugged into the controller and xbox on to get it to work again.

I then noticed an update for the controller, so I updated the controller, disconnected the usb cable turned the system off (for good luck lol) turn system back on again and since then I have had no issues with the controller disconnecting (maybe I will have
this fun feature happen at a later date, I guess I will find out)

Yes I've updated the controller I replaced the batteries Tried it with a brand new controller it's definitely the system. I've tried every work around Available. from what I read on the forums I'm not the only one having this issue. There's tons of people
all reporting this this month.
