    Both the LS and new Microsoft Xbox headset work great with my XboneX. However, with the XSX they cut out all the time in games and occasionally media apps. At first I thought my LS headset was going out and bought the new Microsoft Xbox headset. Then the new headset started doing it to. Last I hooked up my XboneX and the headsets work fine for hours on end with no issues. Has anyone experienced this issue with XSX/S and what did you do to fix it?

    So, this is happening only on the Series X? Try this on the console and test the headset again, please:

    First clean the cache of your console that way:

    1. Hold the XBOX power button on the console for 10 seconds until you hear a small sound.

    2. Wait 10 seconds.

    3. Turn it back on.

    Note: It may take a while for him to call, don't worry, it's normal.

    Then, restore your console keeping the games and apps:

    ***IMPORTANT*** If you share accounts with someone, you will have to redo the process of placing the account as the main one again, be aware of the chances you still have to do this, as Microsoft makes available per year, only 5 chances so you can make some account your console's main account.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the dashboard.

    2. Select System > Settings > System > Console Information >

    3. Select Reset console > Restore and keep my games and apps.

    Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    Unplug the console's and TV, power and HDMI cable. Wait 10 seconds.
    Plug the console and Tv power and HDMI cable back in.

    Thanks for your reply, but that has obviously not resolved the issue.

    I've done a few tests regarding the apps.

    When the CX has eARC on and Digital Sound out set to passthrough and Allow Passthrough setting is ticked on the XSX, the sound bar is not recognised as an atmos capable device, but Netflix, Disney+, blu-ray player and the Dolby Access app all send atmos signal to the soundbar with no noticeable delay. No atmos sound in the XSX menu or in games is able to be played only the other sound format (not DTS-X though).

    When the CX has eARC turned off and digital sound out set to passthrough the XSX recognises the soundbar as a Dolby Atmos capable device. The soundbar then receives atmos audio, however delays are now introduced in everthing mentioned above apart from the Dolby Atmos app. The sound delay in this situation, seems not as bad as when the the CX has digital sound out set to auto.

    When the CX has eARC turned on and digital sound out set to auto the XSX recognises the soundbar as a Dolby Atmos capable device, however everything has a delay introduced. Strangely Netflix and the bluray app seemed the least affected, but the Dolby Access app and Disney+ it was quite noticeable and in games it was worst.
