Booting players offline is a felony, yet microsoft with their enormous amount of money and huge legal team can’t seem to touch these websites. The ambassadors respond by saying to either change your ip (which will only be updated on the websites) or don’t
join randoms (so basically don’t play multiplayer outside of custom lobbies with friends only). Rather than accepting the blame or carrying the burden, they throw the responsibility onto their users.

I have tried to get in touch with microsoft months ago and was assured that they were working to resolve the issue. Nothing has been done. If anything, the issue has gotten worse as you can no longer blacklist your ip on the website. Not only is your IP
made available, they also give the city and state that you are located in. This is highly unsafe for young kids that have their names attached to their accounts. It is embarassing to see ambassadors telling people that they can’t play with random players safely
in lobbies. I plan to go as public as I can with this. Maybe losing sales of the new console over an ability to play multiplayer safely will get their attention on the issue. I am embarrased for yoi Microsoft. Truly.

changing IP means even that site no longer has your IP. Microsoft are moving parties over to server based which will stop IP pulling when in parties.

They are pulling IPs from games. Not just parties. I don’t join parties with random people ever. I’m tired of seeing that same response. They can track IPs through the server that we are connected through while in game. And it is unreasonable for players
to have to get new routers/modems to change an IP address. Most ISPs are unwilling to do that. Especially without a servixd charge, hookup cost, and cost of equipment itself. Maybe have the websites taken down that are causing issues with so many players.

all websites store ip addresses, it is legal, microsoft cant actually do anything against this site if it is just storing ip addresses as this is legal.
if the site was ddossing then yes microsoft could report this to the authorities and apply for the website to stop. but to my knowledge the site is not actually doing the ddos and therefore is not illegal.

Microsoft are already aware of this website and preparing a case to take it down the website is illegal and will be taken down The IPs is stored in the game and is not there for the public to access that is private information

Well yes and no they need to take it down every game I get into I get pushed around by this because it's so easy to see the ip dos it because it's right there fixed this.

in order for this website to be taken down there must be high reports and then Microsoft can take it down when they bring it to court so in order for any action to happen the users need to report it

Microsoft are aware of the website storing Xbox Users IP address This website is called xresolver Microsoft are working to take this down ASAP They also encourage people to contact Microsoft and report it as well this website will hopefully be taken down
very soon I understand people don’t even want to play their Xbox because of this please know Microsoft is working as hard as they can to get this taken down you can contact them with the link above to report it to the Microsoft Team
