    Since first trying it a week back I have been unable to stream games from my xbox one to the PC. In case this becomes a open discussion and others are facing similar issue here's what I tried:

    1. Clearing persistent data - under DVD and Bluray settings

    2. Clearing alternate mac - under network settings

    3. Clearing xbox app Account and Cache files - these actually didn't exist on my install (turns out I'm on a beta version of the xbox app)

    4. Running a powershell script to disable the development mode - this inexplicably failed so me and support moved on...

    5. Toggling the xbox settings themselves removing my account from the xbox and then completing a powerdrain cycle

    6. Finally I ran flushdns on my PC.

    Evidently none of these things worked but this was what was suggested by the online forums and support themselves.

    Which, after a few days of back and forth with xbox customer support, narrowed the issue down to my windows installation, coupled with my reluctance to install the media package. My options were left to either uninstall Pro and revert to Home edition or
    post this open ended question to the community.

    I'm hoping its either possible to install just the relevant driver (support said not possible yet) or it just magically starts working.

    I'm not expecting an immediate resolution but if moderators are aware that **** users want to be able to stream (according to support its a known issue) without downgrading or installing the mediapack bloat hopefully it will get sorted.

    Xbox One controller broken by Windows Anniversary Update

    getting this on a couple of PC's with bluetooth 4.0 (asus usb-bt400 dongle, fyi) on the new s controller

    Was not affecting my surface pro 3 running the insider preview build of win10 pro.

    Was affecting other ppc running win10 pro on release build.

    3rd PC running win 10 home also affected.

    tested all 3 with same bluetooth dongle. surface pro not affected and working as expected.

    Updated both other machines to the insider preview build 14393.10 and connected everything back up again.

    Issue is now only affecting the windows 10 home PC. Suspect that the issue is fixed in 14393.10 for win10 pro, but not home.

    Xbox App missing stream buttons

    Hi, I have recently upgraded my OS from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 Pro N.

    I have installed Windows Media Feature Pack - still Xbox app is without streaming options.

    I have also reinstalled Xbox App, with Powershell commands.

    Still, no options to receive stream from Xbox One console to Windows 10

    I believe this issue is PC side. I am currently experiencing the same issue. I can connect to the system, but any time I attempt to stream I am told that it is disabled on the console(which it isn't). On my laptop it works fine though. Primary difference
    being the pc is win10 pro N and the laptop is win10 home. The console is hard lined as well as well as my pc to the same router, but the laptop is wifi.

    I have been using the feature since release with minimal problems, but now I can't stream at all. I have tried different accounts, re-installing the app, hard resetting the console/PC, checking the network settings, and PC specs are well above requirements.
    If anyone has other ideas I would greatly appreciate the help.

    XBox One, Streaming to Win10 Pro

    Hey MPNoiA! Sounds like you've already taken a few measures to ensure that you should have a solid connection while game streaming, but it'd be a good idea to try any of the non-WiFi related steps on this guide:

    support.xbox.com/.../improve-game-streaming-performance

    I'd also suggest powering down the PC and unplugging your router/gateway for a few minutes.

    If none of that helps, are you using the controller & headset via a wireless USB adapter or is the controller plugged into your PC via a USB cable?

    State of Decay 2 PC, can't invite friend, troubleshooting help

    I reinstalled Windows 10 Pro N and still had the same issue. I then installed Windows 10 Pro and the game and game bar app functioned as expected.

    I don't have the patience to trial and error each of the codecs that are missing in the N version of Windows the overlay functionality is dependent on, but the issue seems to be isolated to Windows 10 N. I've never had any trouble with desktop apps and no
    errors were thrown regarding what dependency was missing so I guess I'll just run Pro.
