    Hi there! This is Virginia O.

    I understand that you are experiencing issues signing into your Xbox App.

    I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

    Please make sure that your PC's date and time settings are correct. Incorrect settings can sometimes cause connectivity issues.

    And then reset network settings.

    Kindly open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands:

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    Restart your PC after running these commands.

    And then disable proxy settings. To do this please go to Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy. Ensure that "Use a proxy server" is turned off.

    Next is to temporarily disable your firewall and any third-party antivirus software to see if they are blocking the Xbox app.

    Then reinstall Xbox App.

    Please open PowerShell as an administrator and run the following commands to uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app:

    Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

    Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.Xboxapp | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -Verbose}

    If you don't mind, please answer the following questions:

    • Is this happening with a specific game or app?

    • May I ask what kind of TV/monitor you are using?

    • Is HDR enabled on your TV/monitor?

    • To clarify, have you already tried using a different HDMI cable, a different HDMI port (on your TV), or a different TV/monitor?

    • Besides the display not working correctly, have you been experiencing any other issues with your console?

    XCloud Gaming Lag Issues

    Yes there is no issue with xcloud but there is some issue the app, both pc and mobile, with how the mobile app and how the service handles the data packets. I sit next to the router with my mobile device and it still doesn't work. Are there any specific ports that should be forwarded on the router? Xcloud streaming on the mobile and in the gamepass pc app have similar issues even though my pc is hardwired, the only way I have been able to play it is through a web browser on my pc.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great despite the issue you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

    Please make sure you sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and validate that the setting in this screenshot is set to "allow" or "everyone.

    Also, make sure that you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Here you go:

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select System > Settings > Account > Subscriptions.
