    Xcloud on other devices


    I tested xCloud app on a Mibox S and a Mibox 3. In order to pass login screen, you need to use a rotation screen app, because MS login page screen, only appear on portrait mode. Finally I managed to get working, but unfortunately this devices is not optimised for this type of application. When any games begin, an almost 5 second delay is present. I am so sad. Anyway, controller connected to USB and bluetooth work both. I also have a Sony Android TV to try, but I am afraid will be with same results.

    Lucky for me I bought OneCast app, which is work allmost perfectly.

    So now we will get a "Series X". With a "Series S" yet to be announced, how likely will there be a "Series C" (from Cloud) for streaming purposes only?

    If the idea of XCloud is"play on any device" why create a device to play with XCloud?

    Handheld device from Microsoft to complement xCloud

    Unless the phone or tablet you want to use for Xcloud is extremely old, it should to work on any modern phone or tablet. Other than the type of screen the device uses and its resolution, the other specs won't matter a jot. Xcloud games will be streamed,
    the phone/tablet will just handle the video feed, nothing more. No need for a new device for this.

    As for a dedicated handheld, no one can can currently compete with Nintendo.

    It is supported but just not in the way you think

    Xcloud is only subscription perk

    And since home console is only a console feature only the subscriber and roam on other devices

    This is regardless of console

    You can use local installs anywhere on a home console but as mentioned xcloud requires roaming which only the subscriber can do

    You will be able to use this feature when xCloud launching. You will be able to streaming to other devices.

    Also, there is an app for Android and iOS called Onecast, maybe you should try.
