    Hello,

    Is it possible to join the Xcloud beta program from a Windows 10 desktop PC ?

    My PC meets all requirements, I have a wireless Xbox controller, but it doesn't have Bluetooth 4.0 support.

    Is Bluetooth mandatory to use Xcloud on PC ?

    I would take an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription if I knew I could use my desktop PC to play games on Xcloud.

    My question is actually about the lack of Bluetooth support of my PC.

    On the xcloud supported device list, the Windows 10 PCs are required to have a bluetoothe 4.0 support. Mine is a desktop and doesn't have bluetooth at all. Will it prevent xcloud to be operational on my PC ?

    Then Microsoft should remove the "blutetooth 4.0" requirement for Windows 10 PCs from the device list...
    I suspect the Wireless Xbox controller needs BT 4.0 to run properly hence it is listed as a requirement...however, just below that it does say:

    "Although touch controls are enabled for select titles, an Xbox Wireless Controller connected via Bluetooth or USB cable is recommended."

    So, it does mention using either BT or Wired

    You don't need bluetooth, If you cannot connect the controller wirelessly, then connect it with a cable instead. I connect my controller to my PC with a cable, and it works fine with Xcloud.

    Make sure you are using Edge, Chrome or Safari. Other browsers are not compatible with cloud gaming at this time.
