xCloud in Macbook and Big Sur experiences thread

Unfortunately, PC wheels are not officially supported on Xcloud at this time.. We recommend using a controller that is officially supported by Xcloud for the best experience. You can find a list of supported controllers on the Xcloud website.

Project xCloud I think is a similar experience to what Stadia will offer. And after having gotten hands on experience with xCloud at E3, it looks like it could be really promising tech. The latency was mildly noticeable, but other than that it was pretty
smooth and flawless. I'm excited to see where it goes!

Do you play on iphone or andriod? Is this a feature that is a part of your phone or an issue with the app itself (if on andriod).

Understand that the resolution of the phone may effect display of games in xCloud.

Though I could not find a solution for this issue, I suggest submitting feedback because xCloud is still in the beta phase and all feedback is welcome to help improve user experience.

This is one of the major issues with xCloud that I hope are fixed before it is out of beta. This likely has nothing to do with your controller, but is instead just something you have to deal with when playing over a wireless connection.

I have the same input lag you’re experiencing on my iPad Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, but do not have this issue when I play on my M1 MacBook Air that is connected to the internet through a wired connection.

Since xCloud is being heavily advertised for use on mobile devices, let’s hope Microsoft is able to fix this quickly. We’re still in a beta period here.
