Xcloud Halo Infinite Settings does not save

That is exactly the problem im having, everything except the controller tab saves, now im recently having the same issues withb other games aswell now

it seems to only affect the Microsoft Edge Browser Xbox Cloud Gaming, when i use the PC Xbox App, it seems to save, but it keeps disconecting due to my internet, so i use the browser which for me is faster and doesnt lag as much as the app does, and this issue happens to every game on the web version of xcloud

Hi again, i just got a new router and its a 5g router from t mobile, it works great and i dont have connection problems, and for even better connection i changed certain settings in the router config from device menager advance settings for my router, now it is even faster, but the issue with the web browser version of x cloud persists, this problem only affects the browser for some reason

Update, now the app is doing the same thing

I am also having the same problem but on my xbox series x as well as streaming on the xbox app on my pc. On whatever platform, all my settings (apart from the controller tab) does not get saved and reverts back to the default. This is limited to the Halo Infinite game only. My internet connection is really good for streaming on cloud gaming and like services so that is not the problem.

Thanks for the information. Since you mentioned about your internet connection, it could be one of the reasons why it didn't save your settings or changes you've made into the game. To isolate the issue, you could try to switch to a different network connection or use mobile data.

Connection speed: 20 Mbps or higher
Connection type:
A wired connection (i.e., Ethernet). This is the best option for network quality, or:
A 5 GHz Wi-Fi network. If you have a dual-band router (5 GHz and 2.4 GHz), you may need to enable or separate the 5 GHz signal, then make sure your cloud gaming devices are all connected to this same signal. If you're not sure how to do this, check your device manufacturer's support site or contact your ISP.
