    Xcloud gaming - can you use mouse / keyboard?


    I've always been a PC gamer; able to build /upgrade my gaming rig for around $600 every 4-5 years.

    Recently, due to rising graphics card prices, I've transitioned into cloud gaming via stadia and amazon luna. (mostly using ubisoft +)



    I'm interested in the xcloud, but only if there are games i can use mouse and keyboard with.

    I've never been able to use joysticks properly because my thumbs are fused at the knuckles. Gaming with a mouse / keyboard doesn't require the thumbs to be bent at all if you rebind alt / control hotkeys.



    From the limited information I can find, it seems like a controller is required except for some mobile specific games that use touch controls. Can anyone verify this for me?

    I've singed up just to say that, contrary to what some people say in this thread, you do NOT need to have an Xbox console to use XCloud (now Xbox Cloud Gaming).

    You need a Game Pass subscription, and that's it. The games are streamed from Microsoft's data centers.

    But OP is right: for now, Xbox Cloud Gaming does not support mouse and keyboard, and can only be played with a controller or, in some cases, with touch controls on mobile.

    Is it possible to use your keyboard and mouse to play fortnite on any computer like mac and windows on xbox cloud gaming

    You guys do know that fortnite is available on pc right you install it and use the keyboard and mouse

    Xcloud isn't the pc version but the series x.and it does NOT have button maping since it only supports control pads

    Ontop of that you gotta rmemeebr xcloud already has latency and you want keyboard and mouse latency that comes with consoles

    You might as well use your pc

    But I'm not talking about a game supporting M/KB, but more XCloud supporting M/KB on titles that do have support for it like Halo Infinite.(Which you can blatantly see in the settings menu, having Keyboard and Mouse support in the XCloud version)

    XCloud currently just forces you to use a gamepad no matter what.

    I like the idea of supporting Keyboard and Mouse for the android OS. Have you tried using a controller? I have found that most games work great with the controller on android/Xcloud.
