Xbox’s New update is Trash

The update is ridiculous you have to push the A button twice to open an app or game to just launch the app or game. If I wanted to see game info I would go to the specific app or game and look at it I shouldn’t have to push the A button twice to see it when I try to open a game.

Go to "settings",then "general", then "personalisation" ,"games & apps" & scroll to the far right & uncheck the boxes.That should stop the "hub" thing opening when you start a game.

@MayhemsShadow, if the last update caused your disk drive to fail and you're getting a refurbished Xbox, you're getting screwed. MS promised a new Xbox 360S to anyone who was effected by the last update in a way that trashes the disc drive.

You will never be able to decline an update like this as it is all about consistency of the experience across all Xbox One models.
