Xbox's AppleTV app doesn't output Dolby Vision

YCC was not enabled but, but color was, No updates for blu ray app. I am thinking it is the blu ray app as netflix on xbox outputs Dolby Vision without issue

I have a XBOX One X connected to an OLED LG C8. If I use the Netflix app on XBOX One X then the LG will display Dolby Vision. So I know that it is passing. But If I use a 4K Bluray that has Dolby Vision, the player will only output HDR。Blu-ray
playback is already up to date.

That's interesting. I also remember seeing that post that said the Atmos thing was only cosmetic. On the other hand, my AppleTV app on the Xbox is only outputting Dolby Digital 5.1 (not Surround) when the show menu says Atmos so I've just been assuming there is a bigger Atmos problem on the Xbox.

the latest version of Dolby Vision.

To setup this feature, first check if you have a compatible TV by going on your Xbox to the 4K TV Details page under Settings. You can also check the full list of supported TVs here.

• Next enable Dolby Vision on your console by navigating to Settings -> Display and sound -> Video output -> Video modes -> Allow Dolby Vision.

I had the same issue, go to the display & sound settings, video output and untick the dolby vision option. Load Netflix check star trek has opened correctly then back to settings and re-tick the dolby vision option
