    What I would like to see is a "replacement" for my Media Center PC. I don't really want one in my family room anymore. I love Media Center but we really only use it for watching and recording live TV. We watch Netflix through our XBoxOne. XBoxOne provides
    a nice replacement for photo viewing especially for OneDrive photos. XBoxOne also provides a good music listening replacement.

    What I was hoping for in XBoxOne was the ability to connect to an external DCT (USB or Network) and then XBoxOne would provide the live TV and TV DVR experience (recording to the XBoxOne hard drive or an external USB drive). Given this added capability,
    I think XBoxOne would be a decent replacement for Media Center. Well, except for the lack of extender functionality.

    My machine doesn't let me play disks offline.

    I did make console my home xboxone console. Also selected offline in network. Still can't play disc games. Keeps asking to sign in to xboxone live.

    Just would like to touch base on how much better live is than Sony's online..

    last time i checked Xboxone still runs on live.

    Try deleting your account then add it again, it just worked for me. All your info will be saved.

    Have you power cycled your consol by holding the power button for ten sec? You also might try removing your account from the Xbox then sign back in.
