Xboxlivefamily problem

I have had this account for over a decade now and with that my parents did the whole Microsoft family thing so my email is Xboxlivefamily.com and I cannot change it I have spoken to many people about this problem but still have not figured it out.

As well i cannot receive emails please if anyone can answer how i would go get rid of that email and switch it that would great.

I am very sorry about what happened with your account and I completely understand your frustration. Unfortunately, Microsoft support and Customer Service are only indicating that the only procedure or way for a user to recover an account is to follow the methods indicated in the link below.

Apart from this procedure, unfortunately, there is no other way as no agent can provide information in this regard.

Hi! Thanks for the response. Buy my problem is that to get the prompt to reset my Ubisoft Club password it gets sent to the xboxlivefamily email, which doesn't let me access any emails sent to it. The alias doesn't get that account's emails.

It is a personal account that has been set up for many years, under the old family xbox live plan.

I'm unfamiliar with this email domain, but found a past thread here that might help you eith th alias problem.

I would also google "xboxlivefamily email" and take a look at some results. It seems like these emails were automatically generated by Microsoft years ago when family account were possible. They were for login purposes and never meant to recieve emails.
