    I don't see why you can't. the full version of Minecraft lets you play 2-4 player local co-op. but if you try to play the demo version of Minecraft and it doesn't let you play with more then 1 controller then Minecraft blocks the 2-4
    player local co-op on the demo version.

    Defiance beta available, no NDA, it's fun so far.

    I am looking forward to the arkfalls the most. Those sound soooo fun. Not only does it have massive co-op battles but you can also set up smaller 4 player co-op mission battles. Every single 4 player co-op mission has a main enemy battle at the end. Cant
    wait to check this out tonight! I am just so worried about people with poor connections ruining the experience and bogging down the servers.
