    So I'm on xbox360 and I sent a friend request to one of my friends on Xbox One and they've said that they've accepted the friend request but on my 360 it still says it's pending. Can I do anything about it?

    They've accepted the request, but it still says it's pending, we can still send things to each other but i can't invite them to games or see their activity cause it still says that the friend request is still pending even though on their xbox one it says that im their friend - but thanks for looking into my problem

    The friend system is different on the One versus the 360 and doesn't use the request system. They would need to sign into a 360 or I believe they can do it from a backwards compatible game, and accept your request there. Or you sign into the Xbox app and follow them.

    To be fair, if you two aren't in sync enough to know that you followed one another, you have no business befriending each other.
