xbox360 console power button will always goes to single red light in middle.

Sorry to say your 360 might be broken for good. Red light on the power button usually means something is majorly wrong with it. All 360s will be out of warranty now. I know there were people offering to repair 360 consoles as a lot had an issue with their
innards that caused them to stop working after a while. I dunno if anyone still offers those services or if there is any in your area, but might be cheaper to look for a second hand 360 to purchase anyway.

It happened to my first 360, I have the red ring of death (3 of the 4 segments around the power button lit up red). Since a lot of them had issues with soldering coming loose, I saw a trick online which was to get them working by deliberately overheating
the consoles (solder gets warm, plugs the gap). It worked a couple times, then it didn't and the console was a brick, so I wouldn't recommend it. If you try anything to repair the console yourself, you do so at your own risk.

Your Xbox 360 is broken buddy. You need to send to repair or get a new xbox. But first, try to check it out your power supply sometimes thats the problem, the power supply can be repeir but in my experience, is better to get a new one.

Hi, I have an issue with my Microsoft XBOX 360.

When plugging in my power supply to the wall socket and then into the back off the xbox360 the console the light on the supply goes a steady amber colour.

Then when I press the power button the centre of the power button flashes green for a second or two and then doesn't power on.

The power pack light goes to a solid red colour.

any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Also its not 4 red lights, Its one red light in the middle of the power on button. (Looks like an eye) It starts green then turns red and shuts off by it self with in seconds of hitting the start button too .
