I will be taking my family of 7 gamers out of the xbox gaming platform because of the partnership they have announced with Facebook. Facebook is not allowed on my computers or consoles. Not in my house. 20 years of gaming with Xbox and a daughter with 2
grandchildren a son in law and my brother and nephew will all be leaving. Facebook is filled with 10 if not 100 Times the Lies and Deception and Hate than any other platform and i will not let that Exponentially Huge Increase of Evil into the world i have
shared for 20 years with my Family and Friends. PLUS throwing SO many people out on the curb by closing MIXER in the middle of a Global Pandemic. People who make livings, people who make the world tolerable for each other. People who make connections. SHAME
ON YOU. WHAT A CALLOUS MOVE. WHAT A DISGRACE !

I agree that it was a serious mistake from Microsoft, but lets just hope that they give the option of opt-out. They will also allow to stream on Twitch so there is no problem there.

Details on the move and partnership are still very slim as its a developing endeavor. Regardless of Facebook's less than dubious past, it's rather unfair to make assumptions about its gaming platform as it (like Mixer was/still is) is still a virtually new
and developing platform. Its best to stay read up on news as it comes out before decisions are made and discussed in such a negative light, I believe. At the end of the day, it is indeed an odd choice but that doesn't mean it should be shunned simply because
it has Facebook attached to it.

If you'd like to really read up on, here's a few articles. And check around on reddit and the Xbox News Wire website in the next few days for more details, the community is still rather in the dark about this... so jumping the gun just isn't 'right'.

i dont think they will force facebook streaming into the xbox i think they will give the option of a downloadable app, you can stream with twitch on xbox still.

I have facebook blocked on the ISP side and router side so i dont even see anything related to that trash.

If Microsoft do force an update and merge in some faceache rubbish then i will leave xbox for good.

I'd recommend first closing all other Mixer tabs, then pressing Ctrl Shift R to hard reload the web page and try again.

You can close your browser and try reopening a fresh browser (don't restore when prompted to do so). When you get to Mixer.com, press the padlock in the top left corner (next to the URL), press site settings and clear data.
