Xbox X series intermittent black screen flashes

Have just purchased Xbox X in upgrade of my Xbox One. Playing on a Toshiba 50UA3A63DB TV. Had no issues with my xbox one but have had 2 xbox x's and both have been giving me intermittent black screen flashes for several seconds continually. Spoke with xbox helpline who recommended trying different hdmi leads and ports on my TV, resetting my console ect, all to no avail. Still unable to play games such as Call of duty due to the black screen flashes continually. Anyone got any other helpful tips to solve this or know if its it a compatibility issue with my TV or a console issue?

I understand you’re having some trouble when trying to use your console with this TV. Let’s try to sort this out.

However, before that, I would like to ask the following questions:

Did you test the console on a different TV to verify if something similar happens?
Is your console enrolled in the Xbox Insider program?
Is this TV compatible with VRR, 120Hz, Dolby Vision, or similar features?
Is this happening with more games besides Call of Duty?

I appreciate the response. I was wondering if this may be the case, but why would the app cause issues with the consoles display settings? After attempting to launch the app the tv display reads 720, then the screen just goes completely black and doesn't
rectify after exiting the app using the home button in the guide (still have audio, can hear the tones).

I'll follow-up with Netflix if need be, but I want to be sure its actually their problem first.

Without knowing what type of TV yours is, occasionally my 4K UHD TV will go to a blue screen, (personal setting on the TV), and when this occurs I switch TV off and on with remote and the screen displays again.

You may need to, as I have done, power everything off and turn them on again in this order...

TV, AVR if using and the XB1X console last of all.

Have a look at Display troubleshooter and in Using display toubleshooter section follow the steps but let the console do a auto
detect and check the results.

I appreciate the feedback. I looked though the posts but those all seem to be related to app crashes, my Netflix app doesn't seem to crash but cause issues with my consoles display settings. You can still here full audio on the background, previews from
Netflix and the menu chimes/tones when moving around or using the home button.

I also don't use the Atmos settings, but I'll play with what I have it set on and see of that makes any changes.
