    Xbox X power cable (UK to Korea)


    Hello, I brought my U.K Xbox X (not series X) to Korea with me, I've been trying to find a power cable here so I'm not messing with adapters. I was told by a Microsoft rep that as long as I get something that is not lower than 7Amps @120v I should be okay, however the cables I've been coming across are all 2.5A @220v.

    Would this be okay as the voltage is higher? I've been searching the web for days and I'm not knowledgeable at all when it comes to this electricity stuff xD

    I basically don't want to fry my console or the plug socket. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    US XBox One X in UK Voltage concerns

    Correct Obsessive Power, the S and X have a multi voltage PSU you just need a UK power cable. The orginal Xbox One wouldn't work.

    Don't worry, the Xbox Series X is multi voltage, so it will work anywhere in the world, as long as you have the correct power cable for the country you are in. In this case you will need a UK cable with a UK 3 pin plug fitted with a 5 amp fuse.

    Any cable with the same connector on the console side should do. The internal psu will handle the voltage .

    You can always check online for sellers giving some. Additionally, if the device is warranted, then you should eb able to refund and get a cable to support the Xbox.
