    Xbox X no TV signal


    Hi

    I went to turn on my Xbox X the other day and my TV displayed no picture at all, I just got the default no signal message from my TV.

    I tried swapping hdmi cables and different hdmi ports and even tried on another TV and still the same. I also tried a hard reset, holding down the power button for 10 seconds as well as the console display reset procedure.

    In the end I have requested a replacement, Im just wondering if anyone else on here has had the same and if they managed to fix it without requesting a replacement.

    Hi, recently became the owner of Xbox One X, connected everything as in the instruction from 4 steps and ... and nothing, "No signal", although with the usual Xbox one, everything is fine. Connect this xbox one x to the monitor via HDMI, everything is fine,
    then the console is OK, but with tv doesn't works. I tried all the options with the video settings both on the console and on the TV, loaded the console mode in the safe mode, updated the firmware on the TV, updated the xbox one x too, but the result is still
    "No signal" ... I understand that TV does not support 4k, but 1080p that pulls already the 4th year in tandem with Xbox one. The TV model is Philips 40PFL3008H / 12. Can someone come across a similar or explain what such in xbox one x happened with HDMI?

    HDMI pass through screws up calibrated settings on TV

    Sending the signal from my directv box through the x-one changes the contrast and settings on my high end TV. I paid big bucks to have my TV professionally calibrated , now the picture is all wrong. Why can't the x-one pass the signal without messing it
    up ? Every cheap HDMI spitter and switch on the planet can do this with no problem ! While I'm at it why can't the xbox pass the HDMI signal when it is turned off ?

    Xbox One X 4K pass thru?

    When you say 4K pass through, are you talking about a 4K source sending the TV signal to the Xbox and then to the TV? Or sending the Xbox1 X 4K signal to pass through a 4K receiver and then to the 4K TV?

    Hi Oskayra,

    I've used the same cable. On multiple devices that would accept other devices but the Xbox one x.

    A Nintendo switch is connected successfully with a cable to the tv. I've switched it to the Xbox one x but the tv doesn't recognize a signal.

    Make sure you are using a HDMI 2.x cable. Try using another HDMI port on your TV. I have the 50" RU7100 and it works great.

    Also check what mode your TV is in when connected to your Xbox. With your Xbox on, turn off TV, turn TV back on, check top right and it should show input and resolution.

    Mine is 3840 x 2160 / 60p Input Signal Plus

    Thank you for your advice! Unfortunately I have already tried to connect another monitor and everything was correctly connected. This is my third xbox console and maybe it's time to consider PS.
