    Xbox x Microsoft Account


    I logged into my Xbox account through my windows 10 PC for the first time in many years. A few years ago it seems like somebody logged into my account through a console and used it to play video games, but they also changed my gamer-tag to something unfortunate
    and unprofessional. I'd like to delete the Xbox account or at least remove it from my Microsoft account, as I have a lot of personal information on it.

    On Xbox One, Windows 10 and the upcoming Series X, you will need to create a Microsoft account to play games. On the Xbox 360 console you do not have to create a Microsoft account to play.

    The backwards compatibility program is on hold while Microsoft finishes production of the Xbox Series X. Xbox posted on their Twitter account some exciting news about back comp program for the Series X.

    Hello Nathan Ror,

    Thank you for your contribution to the Microsoft community.

    If you have factory reset your Xbox One, it will also reset your Xbox Series X. To fix this, you will need to sign in to your Xbox account on your Series X.



    Here are the steps to sign into your Xbox account on your Series X:



    1. Turn on your Xbox Series X.

    2. On the sign-in screen, select "Add new".

    3. Enter your Microsoft account email address and password.

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the sign-in process.



    Once you have signed into your Xbox account, you should be able to access your games and other content that you had on your Xbox One.
