Xbox X Discord

Hello again,

There is not an option to uninstall discord from the Xbox Series X. Discord does not show up as an app, as it is integrated directly into the party chat functionality. Are you suggesting that I unlink the discord account?

Geri I appreciate your reply, I figured out my problem and if anyone else has this problem. I guess when I did a reset one time on my console to fix another issue It had turned off cloud gaming/ remote Xbox features. So once turning that on it allowed me to put my console back on the app allowing me to access my discord server chats on Xbox. I think it would be a good idea to put another instruction when trying to do the discord and Xbox connection to have it have a extra step to make sure users turn that on just in case they don’t have it on and they’re getting frustrated on why they aren’t able to connect it. But otherwise I apologize for wasting your time by me not thinking I accidentally messed up a setting on my console oops.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

To stream your Xbox to Discord without your headset's audio being picked up by the Xbox, you can use Discord's native streaming feature on Xbox and adjust the chat mixer settings to output only to the headset.

Please link your discord and Xbox accounts. Make sure your Xbox account and Discord account are linked.

And then log into your Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One device with your Xbox account connected to your Discord account.

Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the console's guide.

Navigate to "Parties & chats" and select "Discord" from the menu.

Select the Discord server and the server's voice channel you want to stream to.
