Xbox X controller tweaking

So my xbox controller was working just fine until all of a sudden the buttons stopped working, for some reason all the buttons except the xbox button and the analog sticks, they work just fine. I’ve tried power cycling the controller, and the xbox itself and it will work for a few minutes or seconds before it goes to the same issue, can’t play a single game cuz the issue is persistent and happens all the time, i’ve checked every troubleshoot, the buttons are not remapped and nothing is working, I’ve used the controller just fine and there’s no dirt or anything near the buttons

To further isolate the issue, try to connect your controller using a USB cable if the issue is gone when connected via cable. Be sure to check for controller updates https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/...

If you preferred a wireless connection, make sure that your battery is fully charged. If possible, replace it with new batteries.

Have you tried a different controller? I assume you have tweaked the controller settings.

That might also be something that you take up with epic games. While xbox allows mouse and keyboard it's the developers that well have the control tweaks.

i was under the impression that the controller update adjusted the sensitivity too.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

First, make sure that you're signed in under the correct account where the games were purchased, sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders to validate.

Once confirmed, we just need to perform troubleshooting steps. I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. "

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

"Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps."
