Xbox X broken wifi card

Hello Denise, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your console.

Did you buy the console brand new or used? If it's brand new you should still have your warranty intact to set up a repair. However, this may also be an issue with your internet service as well. Please try powercycling your console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds till it shuts down then unplug it for 5 minutes.

During this time unplug your modem/router for at least 60 seconds to give it a complete clear.

Once your internet is back up and running you can turn on the console and try again. If that doesn't work, are you able to try an ethernet cable?

Okay so the computer may not be using the Belkin router because there are no ports on the computer that allow for a Ethernet cable to connect. There is a wireless card with antenna where the Ethernet usually would plug in so I'm assuming the card with the
antenna is how the WiFi is being picked up. During the x box test it shows a check mark for wired indicating it is not the Ethernet port on the x box as the check mark would not appear if that were broken.

Packet loss to what? Also how is it you know for sure it is the xbox and not your internet, or router? Have you ran a ping test to Google or another major site from 2 devices at the same time, while loading the internet connection to the max? Seeing if it
loses packets on both devices ? I cant see the xbox being the problem here. Are you using wifi or lan? Does it happen on both wifi and lan? Have you tried more than one router ?

You would have to do all those things to narrow it down to say that the xbox lan and wifi card are both broken. The chances of the wifi card and lan card in the xbox being broken losing packets is almost 0.

I have seen internet [Mod Removed] up their end alot, I have also seen routers lose packets especially if they are cheap routers. I have never seen a lan card or a wifi card lose packets because they were broken. They either work or they
dont. I have seen network cat 5 cables made wrong and lose information, I have seen people try to run the cable to long with no booster lose packets. I have seen wifi that's to far from the source, and to many other wifi routers around lose packets.

I would reccomend checking your wireless wifi connection and maybe try using a ether net cable because it provides a more smooth wifi connection also your xbox one x might be broken so if it keeps on not working call microsoft or xbox support for help

It's my wifi won't connect to my xbox everything else works fine on the wifi but the wifi won't connect to my xbox one x
