    Xbox X and Ultimate game pass why do we need access to games on pc?


    Tring to buy Xbox X for my son for christmas.

    Why is the xbox x only offered bundled with Ultimate game pass?

    He dosen't need to play games on pc or have access to a pc strong enough to play games on.

    If the Xbox x was bundled with regular game pass, you'd sell alot more. Whats the point of buying an xbox x if the person had a pc powerfull enough to play games?

    Also why isn't there an option to buy bundle with cash? Why does one have to open a new line of credit to buy the xbox?

    Do you have Xbox Game Pass, or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate? The reason I'm asking you this question is because only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members get exclusive access to Perks. New content will regularly be available, which you can redeem on your Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass mobile app, or Xbox app for Windows 10 PC.

    Also, if you purchase Game Pass first, then it would be converted to Ultimate and if you cancel ultimate, you would lose your Game Pass subscription. So if you do cancel Ultimate, do it first before you downgrade to just Game Pass.

    Which subscription are you downgrading to, is it Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, or Game Pass Core?

    If Game Pass Core, you will only have access to just over 30 games that are part of the Game Pass catalogue, and online multiplayer.

    If Xbox Game Pass, you will have access to all the Game Pass games on the Xbox Console, and no online multiplayer.

    If PC Game Pass, then you will have access to all the Game Pass games on the PC including EA Play, and online multiplayer.

    If you have Xbox Game Pass Console only, you would need to subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass PC Beta separately in order to access Game Pass content there. However, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate includes both versions (Console and PC).

    Is it possible that you purchased PC Game Pass and not Xbox Game Pass Ultimate which includes Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC Game Pass? Can you verify? You also do not need an Xbox Game Pass subscription to access Minecraft on an iPad.

    Why doesnt Xbox gamepass on my xbox not let me play on PC?

    If you only have standard Game Pass, not Game Pass Ultimate, then you'd only be able to access Game Pass games that are available on the console. A few of those games are Play Anywhere and you may be able to access them on PC, but you'd need Game Pass Ultimate if you want both Game Pass for console and PC Game Pass or to use cloud gaming.
