    Xbox would not boot


    Hello! For the past few days, my xbox has been not able to boot the the home screen. Instead its stuck on the xbox one screen when you first turn the console on. Then it gray screens for 10 minutes and turns off. Please can anyone solve this issue?

    Hi! My name is Pam. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll be glad to help you today.

    So the first thing we need to do is check and see if you can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Try doing this for me:
    Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in. Press and hold the SYNC button (located on the left side of the console) and the EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console. Continue holding the SYNC and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the SYNC and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

    When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, let me know if you see it okay?

    Once you're there, please select reset then keep games and apps. No worries, no games will be removed, just sign back in using the right account.

    Hey PlayerXXX i'm sure you did but just in case, did you unplug it and plug it back in with xbox powered on? Because in my case, it would not boot up once the xbox was powered on, i would then unplug it and plug it back in and it would boot up fine.

    Yup xbox has been having service alert for a while now. you would assume they would have gotten their crap together by now. Just got booted from destiny tried to relog in and got booted again. Thanks for nothing Xbox

    Why won't the 2014 updates apply to my series x? I've gone so far as to purchase the game again, reinstall, and clear the caches multiple times. Please help.

    You would have to contact capcom for support on their game.

    But my guess would be that your cloud save wasn't current. You should boot up your old xbox and boot the game which will hopefully force an update
