Xbox works automatically after plugging it

Make sure no one is signed into the console and turn everything off/unplug anything plugged into the console. If you have a wheel or controller plugged in it sometimes automatically detects as #1 position.

After everything is unplugged turn the Xbox back on with the controller and see if that works!

I connected my Xbox on an another monitor which arrived after my problem. When I plug the HDMI cable it automatically changes source then no signal. And it worked on a smaller TV but on it I couldn't run my Xbox on 1080p or 720p it was stuck on 480p.

XBF Diego: Yes, I plugged to one of the ports labelled 8. It did not work and I put to the one in the same column and it worked. I did not plug back to see what happened.

Darkhawk: So the Elite wireless controller does not turn off automatically after some inactivity? What happen if I don't turn off my controller after I am done with it? It just drains power?

More observations. When you visit the audio menu after rebooting (w/o headphones connected), you see Windows Sonic. However, if you plug headphones it automatically goes back to Dolby Atmos for Headphones. So maybe it's not broken, but it works differently
than before (where it always said Atmos whether the headphones were plugged or not)?

it works on everything but the xbox and yes it works when plugged in but after it does not
