    Xbox won't turn on through the Xbox app


    Xbox won't turn on wirelessly through the Xbox app on Windows 10 nor the iPhone app.

    The app just tells to make sure that the Xbox is on the same network and set to instant-on however my Xbox is on the same network and set to instant-on.

    You should also consider giving your console a static/reserved IP address. I have found that helps with a lot of devices.

    Thanks for reaching out here in Xbox Forums. I understand there is an issue with the

    Xbox app not finding the Xbox One    . I recommend to try adding the device with IP address associated.

    • Pressing the Xbox button to open the guide, going to
      System > Settings > Network > Network settings,       and then selecting Advanced settings.
    • Open the Xbox app on your PC. In the navigation pane, select Connection, enter the Xbox One IP address into the
      Xbox One not listed? Enter your console’s IP address box, and then select
      Connect.

    Open the Xbox app, on the navigation panel, select Connection, enter the Xbox One IP address into the
    Xbox One not listed? Enter your console’s IP address box, and then select
    Connect.

    If the issue persists, try:

    • Check that your Xbox One console allows Xbox app connections. You’ll find this on the console by pressing the
      Xbox button to open the guide, going to System > Settings, selecting
      Preferences > Xbox app connectivity, and then selecting Allow connections from any device.

    Try this out and let us know the results.

    So I have tried connecting the Xbox manualy to the app and the result is still the same but I've also discovered that turning on the Xbox through the app works sometimes but I don't know under what circumstances...

    Can't get Xbox Accessories app to see my Elite 2 controller on Windows 10

    Just checking on status. Yes I'm connecting to the PC via the provided cable with my Elite Controller. My PC is upstairs and my Xbox is down stairs. When I turn on my controller on the PC it still turns on my xbox down stairs.

    The main issue is the Xbox Accessory App won't work and I cannot configure my paddles.

    I use USB to do this. It won't work anyway with Bluetooth.

    How can I get the app working? I've ran through many suggestion that were on other forums.

    I've rebooted

    Uninstalled Reinstalled the app.

    Yet it still does not work.
