    Xbox won't turn on after cleaning


    My Xbox one (original model) kept doing disc eject sound and turning off, then turning off before the profile selection screen would even turn on

    I cleaned my power supply then it would stay on for about 3 mins then power off

    I took apart my Xbox and cleaned it, put everything back correctly

    But now my Xbox won't power on

    I retook it apart make sure everything was back together right

    Still nothing

    No visible damage

    Now it's clean

    I can hear a faint electronic noise but nothing

    Any clue? Did I mess it u up?

    Hello!

    I previously have had the same exact problem. The issue may or may not be with the ribbon cable on the front panel of your Xbox. (The flat cable for the power button). You could have accidentally damaged it while cleaning your Xbox. Although I cannot tell you that’s 100% the issue, I recommend you take your Xbox into an electronics repair shop and have them look into it.

    won't sync with the console -- and it's not a controller or console problem, but just a symptom of the fact that the Xbox won't get to the point where controllers will sync until it can properly communicate with the TV. I'd recommend turning off the TV and
    the Xbox, disconnecting the HDMI cable and re-connecting it after making sure the contacts are clean. Then turn the Xbox back on first; you'll likely to see the same behavior. Finally, turn the TV back on. With it being switched back into HDMI mode, it just
    might "kick-start" the Xbox into a good communication link across HDMI.

    The buttons on the front of the new xbox units can be tricky. I had a similar issue with mine, and it turned out to be a buildup of dust and oil from using the buttons. I used a microfiber cloth to clean the front of the buttons and it worked. Just make
