Xbox won't show up on the T.V.

Hey, our xbox one at home has been having an issue with showing up on the t.v. The HDMI is connected to the proper place, also secured. Yet it doesn't show up on the tv even when the xbox is on there are chances it does but it gets stuck on the loading screen
before it goes to xbox home

Did you hook it up to your T.V.? If you just hooked up the power brick, without inputting to your T.V., you'll get red rings; the rings show a fault, not overheating.

Black screen

Make sure that the display settings are set-up for your T.V.s resolution. Your T.V may also need to switch to another setting for HDMI connected devices. My t.v has to be set to Movie or my Netflix won't play through my Xbox it also just gives me a black
screen until I change the setting.

Did you try a new HDMI cable? Can you try it on a different tv?
