    Xbox won't show 3D as 3D


    Hello,

    when I watch a 3D channel, for example Sky 3D, I only see the SBS-Picture. It seems Xbox doesn't recognize that it's receiving 3D-Content. I always have to switch to 3D mode in my TV's menu manually. When watching 3D-Blurays, everything's just fine.

    Anyone else with this problem and any idea how to fix it?

    Well the xbox one include 3D blu ray

    3D is dead. Networks are shutting them down and theaters are forcing you to watch 3D by limiting the number of non-3D show times for films that are in 3D. To answer your question though, I would most certainly think it would be 3D ready as even the cheap
    players these days have them.

    Enable 2D-3D. The TV will take and 2D image and convert it into 3D.

    I think the D6 series have the cheap MStart Chip, so 2D-3D won't be as good compared to Samsung's own chip;

    Actually Microsoft confirmed before launch that Xbox One won't support 3D Blu-ray playback at launch. And there is no confirmed plans that microsoft will add this function.

    And I totally understand them. 3D has been dead over year or even more now. EVEN 3D biggest supporter SONY recognizes today that 3D is dead. Most of the statistics confirms today that customers are not interested about 3D options. Cinemas are also confirmed
    that people prefer 2D. And 3D screenings are deserted.

    I won't get a 3d TV but a friend of mine who has one says He can't stand xbox games in 3d, he says they are poorly done. But this isn't me talking.

    he loves PS3 in 3d though and will get almost any game with it.

    ^Sony has said that they will not be focusing on 3D like they did in the past, but they said that the Playstation 4 had shipped with 3D support and even has a 3D game on it. 3D Blu-ray feedback is most certainly going to be showing up on the PS4.

    Microsoft has confirmed that initially they won't support 3D BluRays. What Maj. Nelson was talking about was 3D games. The 360 supports 3D now. That feature has carried over if the game supports it.
